2011 4th of July Celebration

Make plans to visit Konehete Park in downtown Murphy, North Carolina on the 4th of July, 2011 for an old fashioned Independence Day celebration! The fun begins at 8 AM with kid’s games, crafts, music, and so much more. The day ends with a fantastic fireworks display at dark.

Murphy Spring Festival

Visit downtown Murphy, North Carolina on June 4, 2011 for their Spring Festival. It will be a day filled with a lot of fun for the whole family. There will be crafts, food, a kids’ corner, music, an antique car show and more. The event starts at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM.

Hometown Christmas Celebration

The holidays are right around the corner so make sure to kick your holidays off right with Murphy, North Carolina’s Hometown Christmas Celebration beginning on Friday, November 19, 2010. The celebration continues with shopping and Santa on Saturday, November 20, 2010.
The fun begins at 6 PM on Friday with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Come on out to downtown Murphy to see the festive ceremony and enjoy the music and entertainment. Don’t forget to bring the children on Saturday to see Santa as he strolls around town. Many of the town’s merchants will be offering sales and incentives the help you get your Christmas shopping underway.
